"Fantastic hairdresser! Had a style in my mind but what LMH did was incredible! Even offered to sort my mother in law's hair out after not being completely satisfied with a previous style done by another! Both over the moon with our hair! 100% recommend and will definitely use again if in Liverpool or have an large event on again" ♥️♥️

  • How do I make a booking?
Please contact us to make a booking. You can reach us via the live chat service on our website or by telephone on 07760 346 382. Alternatively, send us a text message, WhatsApp or direct message on Instagram or Facebook. You can also send us an enquiry using our contact form.
  • How much do you charge?
Please refer to our services page which includes a list of services and a typical guide price, although we will be able to confirm this with you directly once we have your requirements and location. Contact us to book.
  • How do I get in touch with you?
The fastest way is to call us on 07760 346 382. Our hairdresser may be busy with appointments but will return your call at the next available opportunity. Alternatively, send us a text message or WhatsApp to the same number, or message us on Instagram, or Facebook.
  • Is a deposit required for my booking?
We may require a small deposit from new clients in which advance bookings are made, particularly for time-consuming services on in-demand days. Our mobile hairdresser will discuss this with you upon booking.
  • Do you charge for travel?
We are based in Liverpool and operate within the Liverpool City Region. Travel is a small proportion of our appointment fee.
  • What hours to you work?
Our mobile hairdressers work flexible hours. We typically provide our services between 8am and 7pm Sunday to Thursday, and we can provide hairdressing services from 6am until 10pm on Friday and Saturdays. These are long hours to cater for all your needs. We also try to work around our clients needs, which may be impacted by childminding, caring or work responsibilities.
  • Can you travel to a hospital, hospice or care home?
Yes. We have many clients who are sick, disabled or have mobility issues. We don't just travel to the homes of our clients but to anywhere required, if viable. This may be assisted living accommodation, a hospice, care home or hospital.
  • Do I require a patch test?
For toning, semi-permanent or permanent colouring services, we require a patch test to have been completed no later than 48 hours prior to your main appointment. Bleaching does not require a patch test, however most toners will require this. When a patch test is unwanted or impossible due to logistics, we can use the Wella Professionals Colour Fresh Mask range which provides a toning effect for 4-10 washes. At this appointment we can also offer a patch test for a longer-lasting toner which we can use at your regrowth appointment in 5-8 weeks. We ask our regular existing customers to have their patch test for an upcoming colour appointment during their styling / haircut or regular appointment. A patch test with new customers will be arranged once a non-refundable deposit has been paid to secure your main appointment.
  • What is your preferred range / manufacturer of colours?
Our preferred choice is the XP100 Intense range (see colour chart here): We also use Wella Professionals range, with their Koleston Perfect Me+ a fantastic choice. View their colour chart below. We also have the option of Wella's Magma (for virgin hair lightening and highlights) or Colour Touch Mask (for simple toning solution without patch test). See below. We can also use Loreal's range of colours.
  • What room is best to use for mobile hairdressing?
The kitchen tends to be the best room as there is usually a comfortable chair, sink, power outlet and table. The floors are usually hard floors which are easy to sweep and clean (although we have a protective mat) and thus the kitchen is a good option, but other clients may prefer to use the lounge or another room in the house, and we're happy with that too.
  • How much notice do you need for hairdressing bookings?
All bookings are subject to availability. For standard hairstyling appointments such as blow dries and tonging, or haircuts, we don't require any specific level of advance notice. For colouring appointments such as a specific permanent or demi-permanent colour or highlights (with toner), if we require a patch test to be completed (new client, colour change) we will need at least 48 hours notice to complete this. For bridal hair in which a consultation is required (over phone or messages), we recommend at least 48 hours notice.
  • Do I need wet hair for any of the services you offer?
For our cut & finish services (blow dry, tonging etc), we prefer freshly washed, wet hair and advise using two shampoos and one conditioner. We can offer a hair washing service for a minimal fee, but can always re-wet the hair with fresh water spray if needed. We do offer a standard dry cut option for clients when washing hair is not feasible, but in this instance we prefer hair that has been washed and dried within the previous 12 hours. For colouring services leave your hair dry and unwashed.
  • Do I need to supply anything or prepare anything for my appointment?
A chair for you to sit, a table (for colouring products etc), access to sink to wash hair (if required), an accessible power outlet. Typically these are all found in the kitchen in a normal household. Although we provide disposable aprons to cover your torso and a protective floor mat, some clients prefer to use their own towels to cover their shoulders, or an old towel to cover their chair if the stylist is working with colour.
  • What happens when I need to rinse out colour or wash hair?
Colour can be easily washed out using a shower head over a shower, bath or sink. We are happy to provide assistance with this and can wash your hair for an additional fee.
  • What hair products do you recommend?
This varies as per the individual client is something we will discuss with you directly upon telephone consultation, or face-to-face during your appointment.
  • Do you cut children's or mens hair?
We cut children's hair over the age of 13 but we don't currently offer a service for gentlemen's hairdressing.
